Here's what's actually happening when a client goes quiet after you send pricing.
It's usually not the price. It's the presentation. A plain PDF, a list of numbers in an email, a Google Doc with your packages, none of those things sell the experience. They just hand the client a number with nothing to hold onto.
Clients who don't understand the value will always question the price. A well-built pricing guide does something a number never can: it walks them through the experience before they've ever met you, shows them what they're actually getting, and makes booking feel like the obvious next step.
That's what The Price Print is built to do.
INTRODUCING
The Portrait Pricing Guide
A Pricing Guide Template for Portrait Photographers
A beautifully designed, fully editable Canva template built specifically for portrait photographers. It's not a fill-in-the-blank form. It's a complete, strategic pricing guide with the copy frameworks, layout, and positioning already built in. You customize it for your business, and it does the rest.
WHAT’S INSIDE
Built to convert. Ready in under an hour.
The Fully Designed Pricing Template
A designer-level Canva guide with all the structure already in place. Swap in your packages, prices, and photos. That's it.
1
The Investment Conversation Page
A dedicated spread that reframes the price as an investment before the client ever reaches a number. Sticker shock doesn't survive good context.
2
Package Positioning Framework
How to name and describe your packages so clients understand what they're buying, not just what it costs. Naming is half the sale.
3
Add-On and Product Menu Layout
A clean, pre-built section for albums, prints, and add-ons that makes upselling feel natural instead of pushy.
4
Done-for-You Pricing Copy
Fill-in-the-blank headers, value statements, and section copy written for portrait photographers. You won't be staring at a blank page.
5
The Experience Overview Section
Space to walk clients through your process, set expectations, and build trust before they've ever sent a deposit. This is the part most guides skip entirely.
6
BONUS
The Inquiry Response Email Script
The exact email to send when you deliver your pricing guide. Written to keep the conversation moving and open the door to a booking, not just an information exchange. Most photographers leave this moment completely unscripted.
"A better guide won't fix underpricing. But it will stop you from losing clients who were already willing to pay what you charge."
Presentation builds confidence, for you and for the client on the other end.

FAQ
A few things people usually ask.
What format does this come in?
The Price Print is a Canva template. After purchase, you'll get a link to duplicate it directly into your own Canva account. From there, you can swap in your packages, prices, photos, and brand colors.
Do I need a paid Canva account?
No. The template is built to work with Canva's free plan. If you have Canva Pro, you'll have more flexibility with fonts and branding, but it's not required.
How long will this take to set up?
Most photographers are fully customized and ready to send within 30 to 60 minutes. The layout, copy frameworks, and structure are already done. You're filling in your specifics, not building from scratch.
I shoot multiple portrait genres. Will this still work?
Yes. The framework is flexible enough to work whether you specialize in one genre or offer a few. The package structure and positioning copy apply across newborn, family, senior, and motherhood photography.
My prices feel low right now. Is this still worth it?
Honestly, yes, maybe especially now. A polished guide immediately changes how clients perceive your value. A lot of photographers find that getting serious about presentation is what finally makes them feel ready to raise their rates.
What's your refund policy?
Because this is a digital download, all sales are final. If you have questions about whether it's the right fit before buying, reach out at hello@thebranddarkroom.com and I'm happy to help you decide.
BUILT BY
Erin Turner
I'm a portrait photographer based in Upstate South Carolina, and I run The Brand Darkroom, an SEO and web design studio built exclusively for photographers.
I built this because I spent years sending a pricing guide I was quietly embarrassed by, then wondering why some clients went silent. The work was good. The presentation wasn't doing it any favors.
The Price Print is what I wish I'd had years ago, and it's built the way I build everything at TBD: practical, photographer-specific, and designed to actually work.
